Barbour Consulting Limited provide a contractor friendly AutoCAD – As Installed, general arrangement and schematic updating service. We currently provide this service to Facilities Managers, Main Contractors, Surveyors, Mechanical & Electrical Contractors.
Our experienced AutoCAD technicians can update your working drawings to full “As Installed” drawings with the minimum of input from you (Red Line Drawings required). As an experienced building services engineering consultancy we understand the technicalities associated with CDM 2015 compliance, we therefore provide helpful cost effective solutions to enhance such compliance.
In addition to 2D AutoCAD, our technicians are fully experienced with Autodesk Revit and can therefore meet the expectations of clients operating interactive 3D Building Information Modelling packages (BIM).
We are an ISO: 9001: 2015 accredited consultancy who can interface with your organisational procedures to ensure a quality assured supply chain.
All of our services are carried out “In House” including A3 – A1 colour plan printing, therefore we are not reliant upon external input that potentially may hinder progress.
Our standard AutoCAD hourly rate is £66.00 per hour rising to £76.00 for BIM, chargeable in hourly increments with a minimum office based initial set up fee of £260.00 per drawing – Ongoing alterations, amendments and print re-runs will attract a minimum fee of 4 hours.
A1 Black and White printing £3.00 per sheet – minimum fee £25.00
A1 Colour printing £5.00 per sheet – minimum fee £25.00
Our site visit minimum fee is £340.00 (Maximum 2 hours on-site) plus expenses as applicable – mileage, travelling time plus incurred expenses will be charged as appropriate for journeys in excess of 20 miles.
Mileage £0.45 per mile – Travelling time £66.00 per hour (charged ½ hourly).
Longer term contacts attract our internal daily rate of £520.00.
Overnight expense rate £220.00 – Applicable >75 miles travelling.
All quoted fees are subject to Vat as applicable and based upon 28 day payment terms.
